About Fold
Fold makes it easy to earn, buy, sell, and live off of Bitcoin. Fold takes established consumer financial products and optimizes them for a Bitcoin future. Fold also offers an FDIC-insured checking account, a Bitcoin exchange and wallet, thousands of merchant offers, and more. In 2020 we partnered with Visa to launch the first ever bitcoin-rewards debit card, we recently announced a bitcoin-rewards credit card, and we continue to launch new products at regular intervals. In February, 2025, Fold became the first publicly listed bitcoin financial services company. We’re growing like crazy with a passionate and loyal community.
About the Role
Fold is building a category-defining Bitcoin personal finance platform—and you’ll shape how the world understands and adopts it. As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Fold’s expanding product suite: Debit Card, Bitcoin Gift Card, Credit Card, Bitcoin Exchange, and more.
This role is equal parts strategic storyteller, audience researcher, GTM architect, and cross-functional quarterback. You’ll define how our products are packaged and delivered to the market, grounded in user insights, competitive differentiation, and strong internal alignment.
You’ll work across Product, Growth, Design, Business Development, and Customer Support to launch new products, sharpen adoption of existing ones, and ensure that Fold’s value propositions are clear, compelling, and trusted.
What You Will Do
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements—from concept through campaign execution
Define and validate product positioning and messaging across different segments, products, and use cases
Conduct customer interviews, focus groups, surveys, and behavioral research to uncover user needs, objections, and motivations
Analyze market and competitor trends across fintech, crypto, neobanks, and rewards ecosystems to inform differentiation, pricing, and product strategy
Collaborate with Product and Growth Marketing to embed messaging into onboarding, email, push, in-app, and paid campaigns
Create sales and BD enablement materials including one-pagers, pitch decks, battlecards, talk tracks, and internal FAQs
Partner with Product and Design on naming, onboarding UX, and product narratives
Work closely with Brand and Support to ensure messaging consistency and clarity across all customer touchpoints
Develop landing pages and content briefs; partner with Design and Webflow contractors to iterate and test messaging
Measure and report on campaign and launch performance; optimize based on usage, conversion, and retention metrics
Maintain a centralized PMM playbook: segmentation docs, positioning frameworks, launch briefs, messaging architecture
Who You Are
7–10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, or consumer financial products
Proven expertise in go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement
Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer insights, behavioral data, and market research into clear, actionable strategies
Strong background in competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and product differentiation
Exceptional communicator—able to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both internal stakeholders and customer-facing channels
Skilled in customer research methodologies: user interviews, surveys, focus groups, and behavioral segmentation
Experienced in managing cross-functional launches and driving alignment across Product, Design, Growth Marketing, BD, and Support
Data-informed mindset—comfortable with product analytics, A/B testing, and iterating based on engagement and adoption metrics
Familiar with tools like Iterable, PostHog, Webflow, Omni, or able to ramp quickly
Based in the United States and able to operate autonomously in a remote-first environment
Even Better If...
You have an advanced degree in marketing, business, or strategy
You’ve worked in the Bitcoin ecosystem or crypto-financial infrastructure
You have experience launching products in regulated categories like banking, payments, or insurance
You’re fluent in sales enablement tools and frameworks, and have built internal playbooks to support go-to-market
You’ve led or supported landing page development, tested messaging variations, and partnered closely with design teams on creative execution
You have a strong creative sensibility and can write or brief high-impact product storytelling
You've built PMM systems from scratch and thrive in early-stage, resource-constrained environments
You're passionate about helping more people access and benefit from Bitcoin through simple, rewarding product experiences
