Position Overview:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing WERC's sales strategy to increase sponsorship revenue, drive membership growth, and ensure overall organizational profitability. This position will work closely with the CEO, COO, and VP of Research and Public Policy to align outreach initiatives with the association’s strategic goals. Salary range is $75,000-80,000 with bonus eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation and Sales Strategy Development:
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive sales strategy; achieve sponsorship and membership revenue targets.
- Provide recommendations based on market analysis and sales performance data to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends.
- Support the creation and execution of sales campaigns and sponsorship contracts.
- Track sales, report sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.
- Member and Sponsor Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, sponsors, and supporters.
- Develop customized sales proposals and presentations to address member and sponsor needs.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and VP of Research and Public Policy to align sales strategies with the association’s overall objectives.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within a trade association.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience across multiple industry verticals preferred (e.g., human resources, immigration, tax, tech, etc.)
- Excellent organization, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
