Job Description:

Stanley Chevrolet Buick in Beautiful Belfast, Maine is seeking an experienced Automotive Dealership Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience coaching, training and leading a sales team. We are looking for 2+ years of Automotive Sales Manager experience with a proven, verifiable track record to increase unit volume, CSI and gross profit. Leadership skills are a must have. Solid understanding and capable of managing Vin Solutions and V-Auto software.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand vehicle inventories and how to properly manage Turn, ROI and Capital.
  • Monitor & manage a CRM system effectively.
  • Using appropriate procedures for management facilitate the Sales Department to generate expected levels of market share and sales efficiency.
  • Generate forecasted levels of gross and net profit.
  • Establish sales quotas for all Product Specialists, which meet their individual skill levels.
  • Supervise Sales Management and F&I staff to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Help advance the Digital Sales team & hold accountable for their performance.
  • Devise appropriate forecasts for variable operations with General Manager assistance.
  • Stay current with sales management through skilled use of appropriate computer systems.
  • Maintain process to complete all paperwork correctly and on time.
  • Keep a balanced new inventory in relation to sales.
  • Provide for an appealing merchandised showroom, set up with vehicles and accessories to draw the interest of customers.
  • Supervise employees to ensure that facilities are clean and efficient.
  • Maintain active programs to follow up sales.
  • Meet budgeted revenue and expense goals.
  • Attend pertinent training as available to keep current with the ever-changing industry.
  • Facilitate Advertising and Marketing along with keeping to a budget.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2-10 years of automotive sales management experience.
