Director, Enterprise (Multiple Positions), Databricks, Inc., San Francisco, CA. Oversee and guide a team of Enterprise Account Executives, holding responsibility for the team’s sales quota and new customer acquisition. Drive revenue performance and consistentlyachieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives. Plan and execute strategic initiatives to expand market presence and increase revenue. Build and maintain strong, trust-basedrelationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to support long-term business success. Align customer business priorities with the company’s value proposition andprovide tailored solutions that meet client needs. Direct the team in presenting the company’s offerings through clear proposals, demonstrations, and executive-level presentations. Applyexperience in leading high-growth SaaS organizations, including management of hybrid inside/field sales teams. Train Account Executives on essentialsales practices, including prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, and negotiation. Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a sales management or related role.
Of the required experience, must have 36 months in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
Developing and executing strategic revenue plans for enterprise software or SaaS solutions;
Mentor hybrid inside/field sales teams toward exceeding quota in competitive markets;
Building and maintaining executive-level customer relationships and negotiating enterprise agreements;
Sales forecasting, pipeline management, and negotiation tactics for high-value opportunities;
Competitive positioning, including strategies to sell against open-source or freemium offerings.
Up to 50% of domestic travel based on business need.
